Swan TAFE Website Privacy Statement
Swan TAFE understands that users of the internet may be concerned about their privacy and the collection and use of their personal information. This Statement will outline briefly how Swan TAFE collects and treats your personal information when you access and use the college’s website.

If you complete an online form through the Swan TAFE website, only information contained in the form will be collected. If you leave the website, close the browser window or cancel the application before you submit the form, the information entered will be automatically deleted and no information will be further collected by the college.
The information collected will be used to attend to your enquiry or deal with your request. Your personal details may also be used by Swan TAFE to provide you with information about the college’s products, services and other information, where you have specifically granted the college permission to do so.

You may on occasion wish to contact the college through email. The following is a brief outline of how information received through email communication is dealt with by Swan TAFE.
When you send an email to Swan TAFE, your email address and/or other personally identifiable information:

- may be forwarded to the appropriate staff person within the college so that your query is dealt with as quickly and as accurately as possible. Your information will not be passed on to third parties external to the college without your express permission.
- may be combined with other information you have provided at registration to the college. Your information may be merged with information from other sources in order to enhance the college’s ability to provide you with more relevant information. E.g. If you are already enrolled, we may combine your enrolment details with your query, before dealing with it or passing it on to the appropriate staff person in the college, so that the answer to your query is specific and relevant.
- For processing in the course of delivery, an email may be transferred in transit outside Australia, such as the United States, Canada or other. Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose outside Western Australia.
