Client Services

Client services staff can:

  • help make your course application more competitive
  • assist with decisions about course/career choices
  • offer advice and support to enrolled students experiencing personal problems or difficulties with study.

If they cannot assist directly, suggestions can be made about referral to other staff or appropriate agencies which may be able to help. Appointments with Client Services staff may be arranged at a Customer Service Centre on your campus or by phoning 9267 7500.

Indigenous Student Support Officers

Indigenous Student Support Officers work with Indigenous students in mainstream and Aboriginal Access courses. They will assist students with any difficulties they may be having with their course, accommodation, and financial or personal matters. At Midland Campus contact the Indigenous Student Support Officer near the Café, K Block, or telephone 9374 6203.  For Armadale campus phone 9498 0470, Balga campus on 9207 4245, Thornlie campus on 9267 7711, and Carlisle or Bentley campuses on 9267 7358.

Disability Services

Disability Services offer support services to all students with disabilities or medical conditions studying at all Swan TAFE campuses. Refer to the Equal Opportunity section of the Student Handbook for more information.

Appointments for Armadale, Bentley, Carlisle and Thornlie students can be arranged by phoning 9267 7781 or students studying at Balga or Midland can phone 0438 935 915.

International Centre

International Centre staff are available to assist International Students from all Swan TAFE campuses with academic and welfare support, accommodation assistance and immigration issues. For general enquiries phone (08) 9267 7183.
